RCIA

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process by which people receive the instruction and formation necessary for becoming Catholic. The process focuses on unbaptized adults and children older than 7, culminating at the Easter Vigil when they receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
 
We also assist baptized individuals who are seeking to become Catholic or complete the sacraments of initiation. Their preparation is a separate schedule from the RCIA.
 
Would you like to help us as a catechist or sponsor?
 
Catechists are teachers of the faith with a commitment to giving presentations on topics throughout the year. Sponsors assist the unbaptized and baptized through being an example of the Catholic life, journeying with a specific person who is preparing to enter the Church.
